Then we pair it with a Skunk2 Alpha 74mm Throttle Body Kit for your convenience.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003eOut of the box, these manifolds have some serious casting problems (see pictures).\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eTo address this, we first disassemble the whole thing and get rid of the paper gaskets all together. We then fully port and polish the runners. The cylinder head side gets cleaned up and each runner gets fully ported and polished. The plenum side gets an aggressive port an polish to maximize airflow. Then we move out to the the throttle body opening. The factory casting is a smaller opening than most aftermarket throttle bodies so we open it up to 74mm, smooth it out, and polish it for cleaner airflow into the plenum. This pairs nicely with the Skunk2 Alpha 74mm Throttle Body.
