We then fully port and polish the runners. The cylinder head side gets cleaned up and each runner gets fully ported and polished. The plenum side gets an aggressive port and polish to maximize airflow. Then we move out to the the throttle body opening. The factory casting is a smaller opening than most aftermarket throttle bodies so we open it up to 74mm, smooth it out, and polish it for cleaner airflow into the plenum. We also port match the drive by wire throttle body adapter to the 74mm throttle body opening. You can run a smaller throttle body than 74mm and you will still experience the improvement in airflow.
