We have revamped our Billet RSX Shifters. The new design shares most components between the Billet RSX Shifter Rev 2 and Race-Spec Billet RSX Shifter Rev 2. The only difference being the center union. The Billet Shifter will allow you to rotate 10 positions to better suite more drivers while the Race-Spec version will have a stronger elbow. If you are drag racing or an overall aggressive shifter the Race-Spec version would be better suited. 

The Rev2 features some refined and tweaked overall performance to give the shifter a crisper and smoother feel. We have made some visual changes to the design we think that really adds to the overall look. We also been able to take some weight out of it while increasing overall strength. 

The K-Tuned Billet RSX Shifter is a direct replacement for the OEM 2002-2006 RSX-S shifter box and was been designed to work with both factory and aftermarket shifter cables. The full billet design is extremely strong and eliminates all the flex and looseness that are felt with the stock plastic box. The shift lever and pivot ball are made from solid stainless steel and are seated in a spring loaded brass socket. This combination of stainless and brass allows the two materials to lap together while the springs push up and eliminate play at the ball. For mounting, there are two different sets of holes on the base, so it can be easily bolted into several stock and K-swap applications. The Race-Spec Billet RSX Shifter was designed for professional hard-core racers and we are pleased to offer them a shifter that is truly "Race Proven"

Cables:

Shifter cables have been a high demand part in the K-Series community for a few years now. If you are putting together a K-swapped car and didn’t get the shifter cable set with your engine, you can either try to find them used or get them brand new from a local Honda/Acura dealer. The problem with the dealership is they can be expensive and occasionally they are on backorder which means there is a wait time to get them in hand. K-Tuned OEM-Spec / Street Shifter Cables are a strong and cost effective replacement for all OEM 2002-2006 RSX cables. Fitment and overall length is identical to OEM which makes them compatible with all OEM and K-Tuned shifter boxes, as well as many other aftermarket shifter box options.

These OEM-Spec Shifter Cables are made entirely of high quality materials and they were designed to meet or exceed the OEM units in all areas of construction. The transmission side of the cables features our 6061 billet aluminum shifter bushings at both connections. The unique design of these bushings allows for slight flexibility at the joint which is critical for precise shifting. These bushings improve shift feel and accuracy when compared to the factory rubber bushings. We also offer our Billet Shifter Cable Bushings separately for anyone that already has OEM cables and may want to upgrade. Our cable set is sold complete with all hardware for installation. This includes 4 reusable “hairpin style” cotter pins for all cable end connections, and 3 cable retaining clips. Note that 1 of the connections uses a self-locking setup on the shifter side. Please note: these shifter cables do not include the floor grommet when installing into an RSX. You will need to use the one off your old shifter cables.
